Canadian country artist, Jason Benoit, has just dropped his new EP, Revolution Part 1. The 7-song EP has the perfect blend of upbeat feel-good songs, mixed with love songs and more!

Jason Benoit kicks off the EP with the upbeat and catchy tune, “I Won’t Go.”  The tune talks about true love overcoming the odds and the naysayers. The next tune, "Forget to Forget" is definitely being added to my road trip playlist! While the story talks about a past love, its cool and easy vibe is relatable and perfect to crank up in the car. The third tune on the EP, “Saturday's For The Girls,” slows things down a little bit, but maintains the beat that keeps it playing in your head – long after you hear it. It evokes a laidback weekend vibe, and the lyrics are clever and catchy. The next tune, “Two Wrongs,” takes a playful new approach to the ‘opposites attract’ narrative. Of all the songs on the EP, this one was kept on repeat the most – and I can’t wait to see Jason perform this one live. The fifth tune on the EP "Slow Hand," features fellow country artist, Leah Daniels. The tune channels the soulful old school love song, featuring powerful vocals and pedal steel.  The sixth song, “Endless Love” is exactly what you’d expect – a powerful love song that will ignite a sense of emotion in all of us – regardless of your relationship status.  I can already see the lighters in the air when Jason performs this live. The final track on the EP, "When We Know," presents a country-blues style that showcases Jason’s vocal diversity, and is the perfect tune to round out the project. Happy listening!
